Wicked

For Bryan's birthday, his mom bought a group of us tickets so that we could all go up and see Wicked together at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. So on Saturday, Bryan and I, my mom and dad, Bryan's mom and Alyssa, and Bryan's sister Laurie and her husband Pat, all took in the matinee performance.

What a show!! From the costumes, to the music, to the sets, to the performers - we all really enjoyed every part of it. The storyline was great too! I didn't know too much about it going in other than it was sort of the back story to Glinda and the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz, but I loved how the story intertwined with the Wizard of Oz and you learned about more of the characters Dorothy met along her way down the yellow brick road.

If you haven't seen this show yet, try to make plans to go see it. You'll be happy you did!! Here are two pictures of our group after the show!
